I’ve been coming to On Point Auto for over a year now after my last mechanic put a truck filter on my car when I asked for an oil change. Jason and Tanner have both been transparent with their work and price, which I haven’t received from any other shop. They’re usually booked up for 3 days so you have to schedule an appointment but that’s a sign of how loyal their customers are. Finally, a shop that does it right! I brought my used RV that I recently purchased to On Point to have it checked out before a long trip we’re planning to take. I wanted to identify any potential issues with the coach prior to us driving the long distance.

Jason was the mechanic who helped us and we couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. He checked every inch of our coach and provided me with a thorough review of everything. Excellent Mechanics. Very knowledgeable. First came here when my Tahoe had the engine and 4x4 lights on that 2 other mechanics couldn’t figure out and wanted to start throwing parts at. I had heard nothing but good things about On Point and decided to give them a try. With one test drive the problems were diagnosed and parts ordered. Once the parts came in the problems were fixed permanently. Been coming here for over 2 years now and I haven’t been let down. They fix the problem right the first time. I wasn’t happy when the transmission in my diesel pick-up gave up on me. However I was referred to On Point Auto by a friend and they made the repair as painless as possible, pleasant even. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else now. The guys at On Point were knowledgeable, friendly, had great communication/availability, reasonable pricing, and just all around good people. They delivered on what they said they would do, took the time to explain what was wrong, possibly why, and how they were going to fix it.

One example of how they went above and beyond with my transmission rebuild was by explaining one of the design problems with the factory transmission and how they were going to correct it. So essentially giving me a better product than the truck came with brand new. On Point emulates integrity and honesty.

Small and simple… The prices match the setup as well! Jason took care of my Honda and saved me a couple hundred bucks so I started taking our fleet vehicles to him and we have been impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. The most impressive thing to me is he tells me what HAS to be done and what NEEDS to be done and then let’s me decide from there. If you need quality repairs and don’t want to pay ridiculous prices I feel like he’s on of the best in North County! I have referred several friends his way and they all have had similar experiences! Great Shop! Recently I had been on a quest again for a mechanic I can trust and came across this gem randomly.

Upon entering I was greeted by Jason, very friendly and easy to talk to. Explained to him my concerns and he was able to get started on my truck promptly.

Within a short period of time my truck was serviced and inspected. The price was more then fair and he didn’t try to sell me on a bunch of services I didn’t need.

Since then I have been consistently bringing all my cars to him, even on Saturdays, hard to find a mechanic on a Saturday. I highly recommend this fine establishment!
